Arsenal tells Newcastle United how much they have to pay for Kieran Tierney

It is no secret that Newcastle United are interested in Kieran Tierney and Arsenal have reportedly told The Magpies how much they will have to pay for the Scottish international.

Arsenal are reportedly asking for more than £30 million for Scotland international Kieran Tierney, who is being chased by Newcastle United, reports The Telegraph. Arsenal will be hoping that Newcastle United pays their asking price since they are now in the UEFA Champions League after finishing third on the league table this season.

The 25-year-old left-back made mostly substitute appearances for Arsenal last season since Mikel Arteta preferred Oleksandr Zinchenko. However, Tierney has shown his potential in the past and has been a key player for Scotland in recent years.

Newcastle United, on the other hand, are looking to bolster their squad as they prepare for their first-ever Champions League campaign in a long time. They finished third on the league table last season and will be hoping to make an impact in Europe next season.

Tierney could be a valuable addition to Newcastle’s squad as he has proven himself at both club and international level. He would also provide some much-needed depth at left-back, which is an area where Newcastle have struggled in recent years.

It remains to be seen whether Newcastle United will meet Arsenal’s asking price for Tierney or if Arsenal will decide to keep hold of him. However, with the transfer window now almost open, we can expect to see some movement in the coming weeks as clubs look to strengthen their squads ahead of the new season.
