Arsenal receive a major blow for one of their major transfer targets

Arsenal will be one of the busiest clubs in this summer transfer window but the gunners have however received a major transfer blow on of their targets.

Arsenal have received a major blow in their pursuit of Youri Tielemans, as Aston Villa have agreed a deal to sign the Belgian midfielder. Tielemans has been linked with Arsenal for a long time, but it seems that the Gunners will miss out on the 26-year-old.

Tielemans is set to join Aston Villa as a free agent after his contract with Leicester City expired. The midfielder had been linked with several clubs across Europe, but it was Aston Villa who managed to secure his signature.

The news will come as a disappointment to Arsenal fans, who had hoped that Tielemans would be the answer to their midfield problems. The Gunners have struggled in midfield in recent seasons, and many believed that Tielemans would be the perfect addition to their squad.

Tielemans is a talented midfielder who has impressed in the Premier League over the past few seasons. He has been one of Leicester’s standout performers since joining the club from Monaco in 2019.

Arsenal were reportedly keen on signing Tielemans this summer, but it seems that they will now have to look elsewhere for midfield reinforcements. Aston Villa’s capture of Tielemans is a major coup for the Midlands club.

Overall, Arsenal’s failure to sign Youri Tielemans is a blow for the club. However, they still have time to bring in new signings before the transfer window closes, and they will need to do so.
