Arsenal legend makes statement on game against Chelsea that will excite fans

Arsenal will next week face Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium and gunners legend has made a statement on that game that will excite the fans.

Arsenal legend Paul Merson has made a bold statement ahead of Arsenal’s upcoming match against Chelsea next week on Tuesday night. Merson believes that Arsenal will easily win the match and that Chelsea’s poor form this season will continue.

Arsenal are currently in a Premier League title race and are sitting at the top of the table with 75 points after 33 games. However, they suffered a setback on Wednesday when they lost 4-1 to Manchester City away from home. This loss has given Manchester City, who are in second place with 73 points and two games in hand, a chance to catch up.

Chelsea, on the other hand, have had a poor season so far and are currently in 12th position on the Premier League table with only 39 points. They have struggled to find form all season and have been unable to string together a series of wins.

Merson believes that Arsenal will easily win the match against Chelsea as he does not see anything but an Arsenal win. He also believes that Chelsea’s next win is hard to come by as they do not have any easy fixtures coming up except for Nottingham Forest at home.

“I just don’t see this being a hard game for Arsenal,” Merson wrote for Sportskeeda.

“I’d be shocked if Chelsea won. I’m looking at their fixtures and wondering where their next win could be coming from. Sure, they’ve got Nottingham Forest at home coming up but that’s the only relatively easy-looking fixture. I don’t see anything but an Arsenal win here.”

Merson’s statement will excite Arsenal fans who are hoping for their team to win the Premier League title this season. However, they cannot afford to take Chelsea lightly as they still have some quality players who can cause problems for Arsenal.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta will be hoping that his team can bounce back from their defeat against Manchester City and continue their good form in the league. They have been playing well this season and have shown that they can beat any team on their day.

The match against Chelsea will be crucial for both teams as it could determine their fate in the Premier League this season. If Arsenal win, it will give them a huge boost in their quest for the title while a loss could dent their confidence going into the final few games of the season.

In conclusion, Arsenal legend Paul Merson’s statement about Arsenal’s upcoming match against Chelsea will excite Arsenal fans. However, they cannot afford to take Chelsea lightly as they still have some quality players who can cause problems for Arsenal. The match will be crucial for both teams and could determine their fate in the Premier League this season.
