Odegaard reveals the 11 finals that Arsenal will take part in

Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard has spoken out about the team’s focus on the Premier League title race, following their elimination from the UEFA Europa League. The Gunners were knocked out of the competition by Sporting Lisbon in penalties on Thursday, leaving them with only the league to compete in.

With 11 games left to play, Odegaard emphasized via the media that each match is like a final for Arsenal. “We have 11 finals to go and that’s it, that’s the main focus now,” he said. “It starts already now in the dressing room to recover well and change the focus, so that’s what we have to do.”

The first of those finals will be at home against Crystal Palace this Sunday, before many players head off to join their national teams for international duty. Odegaard acknowledged that some players may be feeling tired after their Europa League campaign, but stressed the importance of recovering well ahead of Sunday’s game.

Despite their Europa League exit, Arsenal are still in a strong position in the Premier League title race. They currently sit at the top of the table with 66 points after 27 games, closely followed by second-placed Manchester City with 61 points.

The Norwegian midfielder has quickly become an important part of Mikel Arteta’s side and has impressed with his creativity and vision on the ball. He will be hoping to continue his good form as Arsenal look to secure their first league title since 2004.

With tough fixtures against Liverpool and Chelsea still to come, as well as a potential title-deciding clash against Manchester City, there is no doubt that Arsenal face a challenging run-in.
