Fulham 0-3 Arsenal: How it happened

Arsenal have yet again won another game and this time it was against Fulham as Mikel Arteta's men scored three goals past their London neighbours to extend their lead at the top of the table.

Arsenal have extended their lead at the top of the Premier League table after a convincing 3-0 victory over Fulham at Craven Cottage stadium. The Gunners now sit five points clear of Manchester City.

Arsenal broke the deadlock in the 21st minute when Gabriel headed in Leandro Trossard’s corner.

Fulham tried to respond quickly, but their efforts were thwarted by Arsenal’s solid defense. The Gunners doubled their lead in the 27th minute when Gabriel Martinelli headed in Trossard’s cross. The Brazilian forward has been in fine form this season as he has so far scored 12 in this campaign.

Arsenal continued to dominate proceedings and added a third just before halftime. Martin Odegaard scored the third goal of the day for the Gunners, firing past Fulham goalkeeper Bernd Leno after being set up by Trossard.

The second half saw Fulham try to mount a comeback, but Arsenal’s defense held firm. The Gunners had several chances to add to their lead but were unable to convert them.

The win will be a huge boost for Arsenal as they look to secure their first league title since 2004. Manager Mikel Arteta will be pleased with his team’s performance and will hope that they can maintain their momentum in the coming weeks.

Overall, it was a dominant performance from Arsenal who showed why they are currently top of the league. With several key players returning from injury and new signings settling in well, there is plenty of reason for optimism among Arsenal fans as they look ahead to the rest of the season.
