Arsenal reportedly ready to get Mikel Arteta his no.1 target in summer transfer window

The summer transfer window is just a few months away and a new report has revealed that the gunners will get Mikel Arteta his no.1 target of the window.

Arsenal fans might have something to look forward to in the upcoming summer transfer window as reports suggest that the club is confident of signing West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice. The Gunners have been eyeing Rice for some time now and are keen on adding him to their squad as they look to strengthen their midfield.

However, Arsenal seems to be leading the race for Rice’s signature, with report from Evening Standard suggesting that the Gunners’ owners are ready to back manager Mikel Arteta in the transfer market once again. Arsenal has had a brilliant season so far, currently sitting at the top of the Premier League table with 66 points after 28 games.

Rice is viewed as an ideal candidate for Arsenal’s recruitment model, given his age and potential. The midfielder is ambitious and wants to play in the Champions League and compete for trophies, which aligns with Arsenal’s aspirations. With Arsenal likely to qualify for next season’s Champions League, Rice could be tempted by a move to the Emirates Stadium.

Moreover, if Arsenal manages to win the Premier League title this season, it would further boost their chances of signing Rice. The Gunners have not won the league since 2004 but have shown significant improvement under Arteta this season.

Rice would add much-needed quality and depth to Arsenal’s midfield, which has been a problem area for them in recent years. He is an excellent passer of the ball and possesses great defensive qualities that could help shore up Arsenal’s backline.

In conclusion, while nothing is certain until a deal is done, it seems like Arsenal fans might have something to look forward to in the upcoming summer transfer window. If the Gunners manage to sign Rice, it would be a significant coup for the club and could help them challenge for major honours in the coming seasons.
