Gabriel Teodoro Martinelli Silva finally signs new long term deal with Arsenal

Arsenal have in the past few weeks been trying to renew the contract of Gabriel Martinelli and it looks like they have now been successful in this endeavour.

Arsenal Football Club has secured the future of one of its best young players, with Gabriel Teodoro Martinelli Silva also known as Gabriel Martinelli signing a new four and a half year contract. The 21-year-old Brazilian joined Arsenal in 2019, originally signing a three-year deal expiring in 2024. With his previous terms set to expire next summer, the Gunners have taken up the option of extending that agreement, ensuring their rising star will remain at the Emirates Stadium until 2027.

Regarded as one of Europe’s most dynamic attacking prospects since his move from Brazilian club Ituano FC in 2019, Martinelli has become an integral asset for Mikel Arteta’s side. A report by The Athletic has confirmed that Gabriel Martinelli has signed the new deal that will see him stay at the club for a long time.

The club must also be praised for keeping faith with their young sensation, rewarding him for performances tinged with quality and promise. Gabriel Martinelli has also not disappointed the club as he has shown that he is absolutely capable of being a player in the first eleven of a Premier League club.

Now signed until 2027, Gabriel Martinelli can look forward to continuing his development among familiar surroundings after giving Arsenal supporters renewed hope that brighter days will come soon enough at The Emirates Stadium.
