Early predicted Arsenal lineup to face Leicester City on Saturday

The Premier League returns this weekend and Arsenal will make a trip to the King Power Stadium to face Leicester City.

Arsenal will be looking to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League table when they face Leicester City on Saturday. Mikel Arteta’s side are now two points clear of Manchester City at the top of the Premier League, plus a game in hand. Mikel Arteta will wish his Arsenal team beats Leicester City this weekend since any dropping of points would lead to Manchester City overtaking them to go top of the Premier League table.

PREDICTED ARSENAL LINEUP TO FACE LEICESTER CITY

Ramsdale; Zinchenko, Saliba, Gabriel, White; Xhaka, Partey; Martinelli, Odegaard, Saka; Nketiah

Arteta is likely to continue using the 4-2-3-1 formation that he has been using for most of the season and here is how Arsenal could line up against Leicester City:

In goal, Aaron Ramsdale is expected to start between the sticks. The back four should consist of Oleksandr Zinchenko, William Saliba, Gabriel and Ben White. In midfield, Granit Xhaka and Thomas Partey should start in a double pivot role. Partey has missed Arsenal’s last two matches due to a muscular injury he sustained in training ahead of their game against Manchester City but he could start in the game against Leicester City.

Further forward, Gabriel Martinelli should start on the left wing while Bukayo Saka should play on the right wing with Martin Odegaard playing as an attacking midfielder behind Eddie Nketiah who should lead Arsenal’s attack.

This lineup should give Arsenal enough quality and experience to get all three points from this match and extend their lead at the top of the Premier League table. It promises to be an exciting match between two sides that are both vying for the three points.

  • I would go for Martinelli & Trossard. Drop Nkeiteih,Martinelli in his place. Reason being,Trossard & Martinelli can inter change giving our left side more movement & fluidity. Outside change, though defensively could be problematic, Viera for Xhaxa. Perhaps later in the game if looking good.....or needing a goal.
