Arteta reveals how he will make his team regain back confidence after City defeat

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has opened up about their defeat against Manchester City and how they will regain back their morale.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has revealed how he is going to try to make his squad regain morale after the gunners lost 3-1 to Manchester City at the Emirates Stadium. The defeat saw Arsenal drop out of top spot in the Premier League for the first time since August.

Speaking after the match, Arteta said telling Arsenal Player: “Just move on and realise why we lost the game. We lost it – I think we lost it. We have to move on because the performance was there in many situations.”

The Spaniard was full of praise for his players despite their loss, saying: “For our team to play at the level that we have to play at to reach that, it’s very difficult and the boys did exceptionally well. The atmosphere was just incredible and the shame is just that we didn’t get the points.”

Arteta has now set his sights on helping his team regroup and regain their confidence ahead of their next game against Aston Villa on Saturday. The Arsenal boss also believes that his team can use this setback as an opportunity for growth.

Arteta’s words will be music to Arsenal fans’ ears, who will be hoping their team can bounce back from this disappointment with a victory against Aston Villa on Saturday. With Arteta’s guidance, Arsenal could yet reclaim top spot in the Premier League table before too long.
