Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Barcelona star Ansu Fati in the summer. The 20-year-old is highly rated by the Catalan club and has already broken a number of records in his short career. He went to the World Cup with Spain but has struggled to nail down a regular spot in Xavi’s side this year, starting just a few league games.
This has sparked interest from Arsenal, but they will face stiff competition from Manchester United who are also interested in the young star. Report from The Sun says both clubs have spoken to Fati’s agent Jorge Mendes about a potential transfer. However, any deal will definitely be tricky since Fati is under contract until 2027.
Fati is considered one of the most promising young players in Europe and his potential transfer could be a huge coup for either Arsenal or Manchester United. He is an attacking player who can play in many attacking positions and would add some much needed creativity to either side’s attack. He is also known for his dribbling ability and pace, which would make him an ideal fit for Arsenal’s style of play under Mikel Arteta.
However, any deal will likely be expensive given Fati’s age and potential and it remains to be seen if either club will be willing to pay the asking price for him. It is also unclear whether Barcelona would be willing to let him go given his importance to their team and their desire to keep hold of their best young players.
In any case, it appears that both Arsenal and Manchester United are keen on signing Ansu Fati in the summer and it will be interesting to see how this saga plays out over the next months.
