Shakhtar Donetsk releases statement on Arsenal target Mykhaylo Mudryk

Arsenal are interested in Shakhtar Donetsk winger Mykhaylo Mudryk and the Ukrainian club has made a statement.

Arsenal are in the transfer market for a new winger as they are worried that Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli will not be able to play the full season due to their young ages, and they have now identified Shakhtar Donetsk winger Mykhaylo Mudryk as the perfect player that would fit into the system of Mikel Arteta. Shakhtar Donetsk has released a statement about the future of Mykhaylo Mudryk who is wanted by the gunners.

Arsenal will be one of the top clubs deep into this year’s winter transfer window because they wish to now compete for the Premier League title since there really is an opportunity that they can get it for the first time since 2004. Arsenal need attackers and Mikel Arteta seems to have picked Mykhaylo Mudryk as the perfect player for him but the problem for the gunners has been the fee requested by Shakhtar Donetsk has been a bit high for them.

Shakhtar Donetsk vice director Nicolini has however made a statement about the future of Mykhaylo Mudryk who is wanted by Arsenal.

“We’re not in a hurry to sell Mudryk, we don’t need money… we consider Mykhaylo stronger than Antony so you can now understand the value.” Nicolini told Calcio Napoli 24
