Mudryk’s agent makes statement amid claims of joining Arsenal

Arsenal are the front runners for the signature of Mykhaylo Mudryk in this winter transfer window and his agent has now released a statement about his client's future.

Mykhaylo Mudryk is a name that everyone in the sphere of Arsenal has heard about right now as the Ukrainian attacker has been linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium for the past few weeks. This transfer saga has already had a lot of twists and turns even though it’s only been one week of the transfer window.

Arsenal are of course in the market in search of attackers to bolster their squad to make a title charge for the Premier League and Mikel Arteta has identified Shakhtar Donetsk’s Mykhaylo Mudryk as the perfect profile of player that he at this moment needs in his team. There has been many reports about the future of the 22 year old over the last few weeks and his agent Oleksiy Alekhin has however come out with a statement about the future of Mykhaylo Mudryk.

“Mudryk is a Shakhtar player and the decision over his transfer will be made by the leadership of the club.” Oleksiy Alekhin told Sport Arena.

“Now Mykhaylo is preparing to go to Shakhtar’s training camp.Trust only official information.”

Arsenal supporters will hope that the winter transfer window ends with Mykhaylo Mudryk as their player as it looks like this transfer saga isn’t going to end soon.
