Arsenal made a good number of signings in the summer transfer window before the start of the season and its been clear that they made many good decisions in that period as those players brought to the Emirates Stadium have had an impact. Arsenal find themselves in a title race and the fans have been calling on the club to make important signings so that they compete to be crowned Champions.
Arsenal hosted Newcastle United at the Emirates Stadium with the hope that they would end the day with all the three points in their bag but their wish was unable to materialise as both teams shared the points. This was a match that didn’t make Mikel Arteta as he was fuming with rage after the final whistle because he wasn’t happy with some decisions made by the referees.
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta faced the press in the post match press conference and the reporters asked him about whether he had an update on their January transfer business but he however directed the gooners on where that question needs to be asked.
“I don’t know, it’s a question for Edu and the board to respond. We are trying to improve the squad in every window. This is no different, we will do our best because we cannot waste any window with the squad numbers that we have so we shall try.” Mikel Arteta told Arsenal Media.
