Arsenal’s new transfer target Raphinha opens up about his future

Arsenal were a few days ago reported to have put their sights on Raphinha after losing out on Mykhaylo Mudryk but the Barcelona star has opened up.

Arsenal are in the market for a new winger to bolster their squad for the rest of the season so that they can continue their title charge for the Premier League title. Arsenal recently famously missed out on Mykhaylo Mudryk to Chelsea and have been forced to look for other targets, with Raphinha being looked at as a possible choice as per some reports.

Arsenal are first on the Premier League table, eight points ahead of second placed Manchester City but they however know how they can easily lose this lead and, so that’s why they want to bring in a new winger before the end of this winter transfer window so that Mikel Arteta can have an option off the bench in case anything happens to Bukayo Saka or Gabriel Martinelli.

Arsenal might have however received bad news as a report by Mundo Deportivo has confirmed that Raphinha has no intention of leaving Barcelona in this winter transfer window despite having a difficult start to life at the Catalan club. This isn’t the first time that Arsenal have been linked with a move for Raphinha as they were already linked with him in the summer that he joined Barcelona. So Arsenal will have to look for new targets as the clock is ticking.
