Arsenal reportedly make progress in their pursuit of Youri Tielemans

Arsenal have been linked with Youri Tielemans in the last few weeks and it's now reported that the gunners might have made progress on that deal.

Arsenal has been outstanding in this summer transfer window unlike the previous past ones as they have in one month completed the signing of four players namely; Marquinhos, Fabio Vieira, Matt Turner and recently Gabriel Jesus. Youri Tielemans is a name that has been mentioned in a lot of Arsenal’s transfer news lately and a report has now revealed that the gunners might have made progress in their pursuit of the Belgian international.

Youri Tielemans has been impressive for Leicester City for the last few years that he has been in the Premier League and its no surprise that the gunners might have put all their sights on him as their midfield is now the place that Mikel Arteta wants to improve in this summer transfer window. Tielemans has been sending signals that he would be open to a move away from Leicester City in this summer transfer window.

A report by The Sun has now claimed that Arsenal will be looking to submit an offer of £30million for Youri Tielemans and that they are confident that they would be able to beat other clubs interested in the Belgian international such as Manchester United and Newcastle United. Arsenal will be hopeful that Tielemans having just one year left on his current contract will be able to come in their favour in negotiations with Leicester City since clubs don’t usually want to lose their valuable players for free.

It will be interesting to see what happens in the next few weeks as  Arsenal continues their pursuit of Youri Tielemans and they will hope that Leicester City accept their bid.
