The summer transfer window will officially open in a few days from now and all Premier League clubs including Arsenal are working under the clock to immediately try to finish the deals of their targets as its usually hard, and expensive to sign in the last weeks of the window. Arsenal have already been linked with many players and one of them is Leicester City’s Youri Tielemans.
The gunners hope to make some big signings in this transfer window because they were heavily criticised for not signing any new player in the January transfer window and so the fans will expect that this was a decision made so that they can plan better for this transfer window. Youri Tielemans has been mentioned as one of the players that Mikel Arteta will hope to bring in to improve his midfield which was poor last season due to injuries to key players such as Thomas Partey.
There is a lot of uncertainty over the future of Youri Tielemans and he has for the first time also opened up about his future as he said that he was fine at Leicester City but confirmed that he could be open to a move away.
“That is not out of the question. I feel very good at Leicester, I was welcomed with open arms from day one. I give everything for the club until the last day.”
“But of course you have to listen to other opportunities, you have to look at your career, and sometimes you have to make choices. Maybe one will come my way.” said Tielemans as per The Daily Mail which also confirmed that the gunners were confident of signing him even without UEFA Champions League football.
