Report: The player Arsenal will fail to sign due to failure of getting Champions League football

Arsenal will in the summer transfer window try to make a lot of important signings and its now reported that the gunners might lose a target due to loss of Champions League football.

Arsenal will hope to make a big impression in the summer transfer market that will soon open but it is however still unknown whether they will get UEFA Champions League qualification this season. Arsenal have spent more than five years without Champions League football and have since then been trying to get back in with no success and the possibility of them failing in this campaign could be disastrous.

The transfer rumours have already begun linking Arsenal with many different players and there has been some reports claiming that the gunners getting Champions League could be crucial in getting some deals done and so we take a look at the player that might not join the gunners if their defeat against Tottenham Hotspur leads to them losing a top four finish.

Youri Tielemans is one of Leicester City’s most important players and he has been very impressive over the years and there has been a lot of speculations on his future in the past few days after various English outlets claimed that he was open to a move to Arsenal or a another club in this summer transfer window. It was however emphasised in the report that he would be open to a move to Arsenal or a different club as long as it has UEFA Champions League football.

After Arsenal’s defeat to Tottenham Hotspur, the gunners find themselves with only one point behind Tottenham Hotspur with just two games to go. There is a lot of fear in the Arsenal fanbase that the club might throw away the last two important matches and lose their top four finish to their arch rivals which would be even more upsetting. No UEFA Champions League would also mean no Youri Tielemans for Arsenal as he is among very many top players that have it as a requirement before joining clubs.
