Report: One top player Arteta’s Arsenal is likely to sign without the Champions League

Arsenal fans have been worried on whether they will sign any top players without UCL but Arteta is however likely to bring in at least one incredible player as per reports.

Arsenal will be looking forward to the reopening of the summer transfer window because they have a lot of work today since they decided not to sign any players in January to plan better for this upcoming window. Arsenal were hoping to go into the summer transfer window while having secured UEFA Champions League but that might not be possible now after their defeats to Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United.

Arsenal will focus on a number of positions to reinforce in the summer transfer window and among them is the striking position as they have already lost Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette & Eddie Nketiah will leave the Emirates Stadium at the end of this season since their contracts have not been renewed.

Many Arsenal supporters are worried about their club’s chances in the summer transfer window since most top players in this era usually have UEFA Champions League as one of their requirements when choosing their next destination but it looks like Arsenal might still sign a top player without UCL once the window opens. A report by The Athletic confirms that Arsenal are likely to still sign Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus in the summer transfer window.

Arsenal have been linked with a move for Gabriel Jesus for weeks now and most reports claim that he will leave Manchester City in this upcoming summer transfer window. The above report claims that Arsenal’s hierarchy believes that their project, the club as a whole and the city will be enough to convince the Brazilian international to come to the Emirates Stadium.

The Arsenal supporters will hope this deal goes through as Gabriel Jesus is an outstanding player that has been impressive in his stint at Manchester City as he has scored 95 goals plus numerous assists despite not being the first choice striker in a big part of his time at the Manchester club.
