Gabriel Jesus’ representative finally speaks out on him possibly joining Arsenal

Arsenal have been linked with a move for Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus for long right now and his representatives have now commented on these rumours.

Arsenal has already begun preparing for the summer transfer window that will open after the end of this 2021/22 campaign and most reports have shown that the gunners are interested in Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus. There has been a lot of speculations on the future of the Brazilian international but his representatives have for the first time opened up about the situation of Jesus.

Gabriel Jesus has been impressive this season as he has scored eight goals as well as making eight assists and the gunners will need a player like him since both their senior strikers, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette will no longer be Arsenal players at the end of this season. Most reports claimed that Arsenal had already talked to Jesus and his representatives before talking to the club and that might now be true as confirmed by his agent right now.

“We had talks with Arsenal about Gabriel Jesus, we like the project – it’s a possibility we’re discussing”. said Marcelo Pettinati as per Fabrizio Romano.

“There are 6 more clubs interested in Gabriel – he’s focused on final games with Man City, we’ll see”.

Arsenal will definitely feel confident in signing him as even the tone of the comments of the agent indicates that they are mostly interested in the project of the North Londoners than the other suitors that might are interested in the 25 year old.
