Arsenal will on Sunday welcome Everton to the Emirates Stadium for their final Premier League game of the season that has had ups and downs for the North Londoners. The gunners have a slim chance of getting UEFA Champions League football and so the fans will hope that they will have their best possible squad at Mikel Arteta’s disposal this the weekend.
Arsenal have faced a lot of challenges in the past few months as constant injuries to important players such as Thomas Partey and Kieran Tierney have had an effect on their chances of finishing in the Premier League top four. Many believe that the gunners would have already secured a UEFA Champions League spot if it weren’t for injuries but now go into the final game with Tottenham Hotspur having the advantage.
Arsenal have now received good news ahead of their match against Everton as the latest training video posted by the club on their official Twitter account confirmed that Thomas Partey had returned to, training which will give him hope to fans that he will be in the squad that takes on the Toffees.
Thomas Partey got injured in Arsenal’s 3-0 defeat to Crystal Palace a few weeks ago and although the duo of Granit Xhaka & Mohamed Elneny has been good, many would argue that the gunners missed the Ghanaian international in their games against Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United.
