Arsenal vs Liverpool: team news, match details & predicted lineup

Arsenal host Liverpool on Thursday night in the second leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final.

Arsenal could set themselves up for a Wembley showdown with Chelsea if they manage to get the better of Liverpool on Thursday night at the Emirates stadium.

The Gunners had a nervy first-leg at Anfield, playing with 10 men for over 65 minutes after Granit Xhaka was sent off however, Arsenal hang on for a 0-0.

Mikel Arteta will be relieved to have many of his key players returning after recovering from injuries that saw the North London derby postponed over the weekend.

Team news

Thomas Partey has returned to Arsenal after Ghana suffered an early exit from the AFCON though the 28-year-old midfielder will not be available for this fixture.

Granit Xhaka will serve his first match suspension and won’t be available. A major boost for Arteta is the return of many of his key players.
