Arsenal’s pursuit of Dusan Vlahovic suffers a setback

The latest reports indicate that Arsenal's pursuit of Dusan Vlahovic has stalled.

Last week reports claimed that Arsenal and Fiorentina had reached an agreement for the transfer of Dusan Vlahovic for a fee close to €80m.

Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Arsenal are one of the clubs keeping tabs on the 21-year-old striker but there’s nothing advanced as of yet.

The Gunners are believed to be keen on signing Vlahovic in January and have no problem meeting Fiorentina’s €80m price tag.

Arsenal however are having difficulty reaching Vlahovic and his agent for talks according to Sky Italia.

The report states that Vlahovic’s agent is not taking calls from Arsenal and attempts to reach the Serbian striker’s entourage have been in vain.

Fiorentina suspect that Vlahovic  may have already reached an agreement with another team that remains unknown at the moment.

It appears Vlahovic may have rejected Arsenal’s advances and opted for a more attractive offer. Bayern Munich, Manchester City, Juventus and Tottenham are the teams interested in the in-demand striker.
