Real Madrid’s price for Martin Odegaard revealed as Arsenal continue talks

Arsenal are interested in Martin Odegaard and Real Madrid have reportedly revealed their asking price for the Norwegian international.

Arsenal are interested in Real Madrid midfielder Martin Odegaard who was at the Emirates Stadium for six months on loan last season and the gunners are serious about their desire to permanently make him a gunner but they however will have to meet the asking price of his club. Real Madrid have been in talks with Arsenal for Martin Odegaard and the asking price of the Norwegian international has been revealed.

Martin Odegaard said goodbye to the Arsenal supporters after he left the club in July and everyone thought that the possibility of the 22 year old returning were over but the last few days have seen a surge in reports claiming that a move back to the Emirates Stadium is likely since the player is not happy at Real Madrid.

Sky Sports has now revealed in one of its transfer news segments that Real Madrid’s asking price for Martin Odegaard is in the region of £35-£40million and that Arsenal’s talks with the Spanish club were ongoing with the hope of reaching a deal. They also confirm that Odegaard was not only left out of the Real Madrid squad that played at the weekend and that he is yet to be given a squad number.

Martin Odegaard did not have stellar statistics in his time at Arsenal but his influence in games was easily seen as Mikel Arteta has not hidden his love for the midfielder as he has from the beginning always claimed that he would love to permanently sign the Norwegian international.
