Premier League winning manager tipped for Arsenal job as pressure mounts on Arteta

A section of Arsenal fans have Called for Mikel Arteta to get sacked after Friday's 2-0 loss to Brentford.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is under serious pressure after his side suffered a shocking 2-0 defeat to newly promoted Brentford on the opening day of the new season.

Majority of Arsenal fans have come to the agreement that Arteta is not fit for the job and have demanded the club hire a more experienced manager.

Arteta’s Arsenal have finished eighth in the League for consecutive seasons and failed to qualify for European football for the first time in over two decades.

Italian outlet Tuttosport claim the club could appoint Antonio Conte should Arteta get the sack. Conte is unemployed after leaving Inter Milan having guided them to Serie A success.

The Italian manager has been labeled as a “serial winner” because of his success at all the clubs he has managed including a Premier League title win with Chelsea.

Arsenal’s board could lose their patience if the team’s results remain unchanged and Conte appears to be at the top of the list of names that could take the big job.
