Arsenal receive bad news in their pursuit of Lautaro Martinez

Arsenal have been interested in Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez for weeks now but it's however reported that the gunners have received bad news in their pursuit of the Argentine international.

Arsenal are interested in Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez since they are in need of a new forward at the club as their current main attackers at the club are over 30 years old, and have lost their past form. Arsenal have been reported to have shown interest in Lautaro Martinez for the past few days but it’s however claimed that they have received bad news in their pursuit of the player.

Lautaro Martinez is one of the best strikers in Europe and was very influential in Inter Milan winning their first Italian Serie A title in a decade as he scored 17 league goals, and this has seen him attract interest from many clubs including Arsenal who want him to either replace Alexandre Lacazette or Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who have both lost their form as we look to start a new campaign.

Arsenal fans were hopeful that they could try to sign Lautaro Martinez even if they had to wait for the deadline day but they have however received the worst news possible after its been reported by Football.London that their arch rivals Tottenham Hotspur have went ahead of them in the race for the signature of the Argentine international as its confirmed that they have reached a €60million agreement with Inter Milan.

It’s believed that Arsenal were yet to submit any offer to Inter Milan for Lautaro Martinez and Tottenham Hotspur have now moved in to steal him away from their North London rivals, and its likely that the Italian club could let him leave in this summer transfer window since they have financial issues at the moment.
