Arsenal make an offer of four player plus cash for James Maddison

Arsenal have begun negotiations with Leicester for James Maddison and have offered four of their players in the deal.

Arsenal have offered four players in a £60million player-plus-cash deal for Leicester City’s attacking midfielder James Maddison according to football.london.

According to the report, the Gunners are open to including one of Reiss Nelson, Eddie Nketiah, Maitland-Niles or Joe Willock as part of the deal.

Arsenal are trying hard to reduce Leicester’s asking price which is over £60m by including fringe player as part of the deal.

However, the Foxes are believed to want only the full amount and are not interested in any player included in the deal.

Arteta is eager to add a creative midfielder to his squad for the new season and is a big fan of the 24-year-old playmaker. Maddison is also reportedly open to moving to north London.

Edu and the transfer chiefs will continue to explore the different options they can use to structure the deal and make it materialize.
