REVEALED: What Arsenal will try to do to sign Houssem Aouar

Arsenal were linked with Houssem Aouar last year and its now reported that there's one reason that is keeping the gunners from signing him.

Arsenal was in the previous two transfer windows heavily linked with a move for Lyon attacking midfielder Houssem Aouar but that hasn’t been the case in this summer transfer window until now. A new report has emerged revealing the only thing that is keeping Arsenal from pushing further for the signature of Houssem Aouar.

Arsenal will try to sign an attacking midfielder in this summer transfer window since the gunners lost Mesut Ozil in the January transfer window and Martin Odegaard who was loan there for six months will not return to England as he is likely to finally get a chance to cement a place in the see starting eleven of Real Madrid. So Arsenal have been forced to jump right into the market and there has been questions on whether the gunners would continue their pursuit of Aouar.

The ESPN has released a report claiming that Arsenal will restart their pursuit of Houssem Aouar after they offload one more midfielder and that Lyon might be willing to accept a fee of €25million for the French international in this summer transfer window. The gunners have already begun clearing out their squad as Mikel Arteta promised at the end of last season as the likes of Matteo Guendouzi are gone and Xhaka is also on his way out to AS Roma.

Houssem Aouar is an outstanding young attacking midfielder and has been rated as one of the best talents in the French Ligue one and Arsenal will be glad that he is price has significantly reduced as he was valued over €50million last season. It will be interesting to see how this turns out since Arsenal are also believed to be pursuing Sambi Lokonga and Ben White.
