Chelsea set new asking price for Abraham after Arsenal fail to pay previous amount

Arsenal are said to be interested in Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham who has fallen out of favour at Stamford Bridge after the West London club brought in new signings in the 2020 summer transfer window. A new report has now revealed that Chelsea are going to cut on their asking price of Tammy Abraham as Arsenal and other clubs have failed to meet their demands.

Arsenal could in this summer transfer window dive into the market to sign a new striker as its been reported that the North Londoners could be willing to sell Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah hence them needing to sign one as they wouldn’t start the campaign with only Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and youngster Balogun as their centre forwards.

Arsenal were a few days linked with a move for Tammy Abraham and reports claimed that Chelsea was going to ask for a fee of £40million but it’s however now getting reported by The Sun that The Blues have decided to reduce on their asking price since the interested clubs were not willing to pay for that amount. The report claims that Arsenal, West Ham United and Aston Villa are all interested in Abraham and that Chelsea will be reducing their price by at least £5million and that they want his sale to help fund their move for their striking target.

Tammy Abraham scored six Premier League goals last season with limited game time and Arsenal if they sign him will hope that he can rediscover his form that he had in the 2019/20 season that saw him get 15 league goals despite this being the first time he is given a chance in the first team of Chelsea.
