Arsenal have reportedly set a very low asking price for their striker Alexandre Lacazette who arrived at the Emirates Stadium in the 2017 summer transfer window.

Arsenal signed Alexandre Lacazette in the 2017 summer transfer window and he has still not proved to be a better option than Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as a lone striker despite his incredible start to life as a gunner as there was immense excitement in the fanbase of the North Londoners when he scored his first Premier League goal against The Foxes in the very first minutes of the 2017/18 season.
Alexandre Lacazette got injured halfway throughout his first season at Arsenal and the gunners later brought Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who then took all the spotlight away from him but the two however formed a great partnership in the first season of Unai Emery. It has however later become apparent that the gunners can’t be able to play with both Lacazette and Aubameyang in the same starting eleven, and so they are going to have let go of one this summer, and it looks like it won’t be the Gabon international since he got a contract renewal last year.
The Sun has released a report claiming that Arsenal have set a surprisingly low asking price of £15million for their striker Alexandre Lacazette after deciding to not offer him a new contract to extend his stay at the Emirates Stadium. The report claims that Arsenal will be looking to offload many players in this summer transfer window and that Lacazette is one of them and that funds got from him could even be used to sign Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham.
Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette is yet to comment on whether he is in talks with the club over a new contract and so it’s likely that he might not get offered one since Aubameyang is still here, and the gunners might prefer to have a young second striker instead of him.
