Arsenal reportedly set surprising asking price for Hector Bellerin as he nears exit

Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin is likely to leave the Emirates Stadium this summer and its now been revealed that the gunners have set their asking price.

Arsenal right back Hector Bellerin did not have a successful campaign last season as he repeatedly fell out of favour of Mikel Arteta as Cedric Soares and Calum Chambers started ahead of him many times. Hector Bellerin has in recent years hint at a possible exit and its now reported that the gunners have now set an asking price for the Spanish international.

Hector Bellerin has been heavily linked with an exit from Arsenal since the departure of Arsene Wenger and it looks like that this could soon become a reality in this summer transfer window as he has in recent times always claimed that he is open to anything as some reports even claimed that one of the reasons why he wanted to leave the North Londoners so that he could change his scenery.

CBS Sports has released a report claiming that Arsenal have set an asking price of £20 million for Hector Bellerin amidst the interest of Atletico Madrid who want him to replace Kieran Trippier who is likely to return to the Premier League this summer as per the same report. The gunners will want any interested club to pay that £20million amount if they are to let go of Hector Bellerin but it will however be a sour feeling for them as he was in the past pursued by Barcelona and they were willing to offer €50million.

The gunners will be forced to dive into the summer transfer window to search for a new right back if Bellerin gets sold as its likely that Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta will not accept to go into the new season with only Calum Chambers and Cedric Soares as the only right footed fullbacks.
