Arsenal close in on the signing of highly rated Sambi Lokonga

Arsenal have been linked with Sambi Lokonga for weeks now and its now reported that the gunners are closing in on the completion of the deal.

Arsenal are expected to be one of the clubs that will be busy in this summer transfer window since their manager and hierarchy claimed that they would be revamping the squad before the start of the new season. It’s been widely reported that Arsenal are interested in Anderlecht midfielder Sambi Lokonga and its now claimed that this deal has progressed today.

Arsenal are likely to sell Granit Xhaka and Matteo Guendouzi in this summer transfer window and so this will make it a necessity for the gunners to bring in a new central midfielder and its claimed that they have chosen Sambi Lokonga as a young player that fits the profile of players that Mikel Arteta wants in his squad.

There has been many reports about the future of Sambi Lokonga in the last few days and Belgian football transfer journalist Sven has confirmed that Arsenal have submitted a bid of 14 + 3 million bonuses to Anderlecht with the hope of signing the Belgian international. The journalist also confirms that the gunners are not worried about personal terms as they have already been agreed with Lokonga and that what’s remaining is only for the two clubs to reach an agreement regarding the fee.

Sambi Lokonga is a highly rated 21 year old midfielder who most claim to have no weaknesses and one of his best attributes include fantastic passing, through balls and dribbling which are things that will be much appreciated in the current Arsenal squad.
