Confirmed Arsenal starting eleven to face Villarreal released

Arsenal’s team to take on Villarreal has been released and Mikel Arteta has made changes to the squad that played over the weekend.

Arsenal will shortly play their second leg semifinal against Villarreal. The Gunners are currently 2-1 down and will have to win by at least two goals if they are to progress to the Europa League finals.

Arteta has fielded a strong side that will partake in this do or die game captained by Aubameyang.

ARSENAL STARTING ELEVEN TO FACE VILLARREAL

Leno; Bellerin, Holding, Mari, Xhaka; Partey, Smith-Rowe, Odegaard; Pepe, Aubameyang, Saka

SUBSTITUTES:

Ryan, Okonkwo, Chambers, Tierney, Gabriel, Willian, Lacazette, Cedric, Nelson, Elneny, Nketiah, Martinelli

For Arsenal to progress they must beat Villarreal by at least two clear goals although a 1-0 score line would also make them progress through the away goals rule.
