Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette has just one year remaining on his current contract at the Emirates Stadium and he has this season been their best player in terms of goals scored as he has been very influential for the North Londoners in the past few months with important goals. Alexandre Lacazette has been linked with a move away from Arsenal in the last few days and a report has now revealed the decision that the club has made on his future.
Alexandre Lacazette joined Arsenal from Lyon in 2017 and he had a fantastic start to life as a gunner as he even scored on his debut but an injury in the middle of the season saw him go on the sidelines for weeks and with the departure of Alexis Sanchez, the gunners then bought Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who seemed to take the spot light away from the Frenchman as he was scoring more goals than him.
Lacazette however formed a great relationship with Aubameyang in 2018 and they have been Arsenal’s top scorers since then, and the Frenchman has surprisingly scored more goals than the Gabonese international this season. There has been reports that Alexandre Lacazette might leave the club in this upcoming summer transfer window but a report by Football.London has confirmed that Arsenal have offered the French striker a one year deal and that he was currently thinking about it while his agent talks to clubs in France, Italy and Spain.
It will be interesting to see if Lacazette will indeed accept this one year deal from Arsenal as some reports from many foreign outlets have claimed that the Frenchman might want to try to get a move away from the Emirates after having spent four years in England.
