Report: Arsenal releases list of players to miss match against Liverpool

Arsenal will on Saturday face Liverpool at home and they will hope to get all the three points from the Premier League Champions since they would like to get into European spots but they might however have to do it without some of their players as per the latest team news from the medical team of the North London club.

The team news has confirmed that David Luiz will miss the game against Liverpool due to a knee injury but it has however not been disclosed on how long he will be on the sidelines. This is a massive blow for the gunners as he is the first choice right footed centre back of Mikel Arteta. Luiz is the only player that the club has confirmed will miss the clash against Liverpool but it also revealed the doubts for the game.

Arsenal’s in form young winger Bukayo Saka is a major doubt for this game as he didn’t join the England squad for the international games despite being called up due to a hamstring injury. Arteta will be hopeful that it doesn’t turn out to be too serious as they will need him fit for their European charge. Emile Smith Rowe sustained a thigh injury while on international duty for England’s U21 and will as Saka be assessed before the game against Liverpool.

Granit Xhaka and Willian are also doubts for the game due to sickness and calf injury respectively. Xhaka’s absence would give Arteta a lot to think about since he wants him to start forming a chemistry with Thomas Partey as a midfield duo.
