Mikel Arteta reportedly chooses the two Arsenal youngsters to be put on summer transfer market

The summer transfer window is just a few months away and Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has reportedly put two youngsters on the market.

Arsenal will definitely have a busy summer transfer window as this time will be a big opportunity to do decide the number of players that will be needed ahead of the new season. Mikel Arteta and Edu Gaspar said in the last summer that the manager had a lot of influence in who they sell or bring in to the club.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has turned out to be very ruthless as the club embarked on a clear out campaign in the January transfer window to remove the players that were deadwood. It however looks like Arsenal could reportedly let go of two youngsters in the summer transfer window to get funds to bring in their targets.

A report by The Mirror claims that Arsenal will be ready to listen to offers for Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Eddie Nketiah who fought their way from the academy until they were considered as first team players of the North London club. The report also claims that Ainsley Maitland-Niles had attracted interest from many clubs despite the possibility of the club he was loaned to getting relegated.

The above report also reveals that Eddie Nketiah’s future is in the balance as the club could soon possibly renew the contract of Alexandre Lacazette to extend his stay at the Emirates Stadium and the gunners working hard to get Balogun to a new deal shows how he might be sold this summer.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Eddie Nketiah were very impressive in Mikel Arteta’s first season at the club and so it’s surprising that these two could be sold in the upcoming summer transfer window.

  • Nonsense, we have about twenty players up for sale and all are around £20m

    It's like a whole X1 of £20m players
    Leno
    Bellerin Holding Saliba Kolasinac
    Maitland-niles Torreira guendozi
    Willock Nketiah lacazette

£220m you can have the lot!

Only 3 might make the first x1, but I doubt that.

We need to spend that money on signings that will improve the first x1. I miss having players that other teams were jealous of.
