Arsenal appointed Unai Emery as their new manager in May, 2018 after the departure of Arsene Wenger and he had an interesting first season in England which imploded at the end of the campaign. Bukayo Saka got his Premier League debut under Unai Emery and the young Arsenal star has spoken out on the un told truth about the Spanish coach.
Unai Emery led the gunners to the UEFA Europa League final in his first season at the club but they however lost to Chelsea in that game and he then was given a chance to try another season but the gunners started off poorly in his second year at the club as Arsenal failed to win any league games for weeks and he was sacked when he had become a villain in the eyes of most supporters.
Bukayo Saka got his first chance in the first team squad under Unai Emery and he has transformed into a well established player this season and the young Englishman feels that the Spaniard deserves a lot of credit for giving the young players chances since they are usually important to a young player’s career growth. Saka also said that Unai Emery is a nice man and coach.
“For me, Unai deserves a lot of credit for the belief and trust he put in a lot of us,” says Saka. He is a good guy and a good manager.” Bukayo Saka told Standard.
“It is going to be a special match, not just for me, but for a lot of the other young players in our team, as Unai gave us our opportunity to play for Arsenal, gave us our debuts.”
