Europa League draw: Details and possible quarterfinal and semifinal opponents

Arsenal today will discover their next opponent in the Europa and their possible opponent in the semifinal.

Arsenal progressed to the Europa League quarterfinal after edging Olympiacos 3-2 on aggregate. There was a minor setback yesterday when Olympiacos won 1-0 at the Emirates but Arsenal still made it through.

Today they will find out their next opponent(s). The draw will take place at the house of European football in Nyon, Switzerland at 12pm, UK time.

Just like the round of 16 stage Arsenal could be paired with any of the remaining seven teams. These are;

Ajax, Villarreal, Granada, Manchester United, AS Roma, Slavia Praha and Dinamo Zagreb who knocked out Tottenham.

Once the quarterfinal draw is conducted, a draw for the semifinal will also take place. So Arsenal will know which teams they’ll have to defeat to reach the finals of this competition.

The quarterfinals will take place after the international break on April 8 with the return leg on April 15 while the semifinals will take place on April 29 with the second leg happening on May 6.
