Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal receive big injury boost ahead of the 2020/21 season

The new Premier League season is just a month away and Arteta's Arsenal might have received a big injury boost ahead of its start.

The 2020/21 Premier League season will kickoff next month and Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta will be hoping that he has most of his players available when it starts as he will want to get off to a good start to his first full season as a manager. The gunners have many players on the sidelines but it looks like one player might come back quicker than possible hence being a boost for Arteta.

Arsenal centre back Pablo Mari got injured in the first Premier League game against Manchester City after Project Restart and he has since then been on the sidelines. The Spanish centre back joined Arsenal in the 2020 January transfer window on a loan deal but he was however permanently signed after he got injured in their game against Manchester City and the club said in their team news that he would return to full training in September.

Arsenal will be absolutely pleased with this as him returning quickly would be a big boost to the team as Arteta’s tactics are better when he has a left footed centre back in his starting eleven.

The quick recovery of Pablo Mari could also affect the transfer business of Arsenal was there has been many reports recently claiming that they want to sign Lille centre back Gabriel with one of the most important reasons why they after him being that he is a left footed defender like, Mari.

Pablo Mari being permanently signed by Arsenal came as a big surprise to many because he arrived at the Emirates Stadium on a loan deal and then made four appearances before getting injured, and then received a four year contract from the club.
