Ceballos speaks out on his future and Mikel Arteta

Arsenal completed the signing of Dani Ceballos from Real Madrid on a loan deal in last year’s summer transfer window and he has in recent months became a regular starter under Mikel Arteta. The Spanish midfielder has spoken out on his future and about having Mikel Arteta as his head coach.

Dani Ceballos joined Arsenal on a season long loan from Real Madrid and he had a wonderful start to life as a gunner as he was very instrumental in the win over Burnley and later played in the next matches but he however then got injured in a UEFA Europa League game hence missing a lot of matches that eventually saw Unai Emery get sacked.

Ceballos returned back to full fitness when Arsenal had already appointed Mikel Arteta as the successor of Unai Emery and he didn’t start for many games but later convinced the new boss in training and then started being in the main Premier League starting eleven but the competition was however then stopped due to the Coronavirus. Current reports have claimed that Arsenal might not permanently sign Ceballos and he has also said that he will be returning to Real Madrid when his loan ends and spoke out that he has been happy with having Mikel Arteta as his boss.

“I have not spoken to Zidane, he is now focused on his players. When my loan contract ends I will be a Real Madrid player again. My goal is to succeed there.” Ceballos told Onda Cero.

“I had to be away for a long time due to injury but I worked hard to turn the situation around. With Arteta, I have had a very good relationship since he arrived, he has given me confidence and now I am focused on ending the season in the best possible way and achieving our goals.”
