Arsenal starting eleven eleven to face Southampton finally gets released

Arsenal's starting eleven to face Southampton at the St Mary's Stadium has been released and Mikel Arteta has made a number of changes to the one that played at the weekend.

The gunners has this evening been welcomed at the St Mary’s Stadium by Southampton and Mikel Arteta’s men will come into this game with the main aim being to get all the three points as they surely need these type of wins to get UEFA Champions League football.

The Arsenal starting eleven has been released and Mikel Arteta has made some changes to the starting eleven that played against Brighton & Hove Albion at the weekend.

ARSENAL LINEUP TO FACE SOUTHAMPTON

Martinez, Bellerin, Mustafi, Holding, Tierney, Pepe, Ceballos, Xhaka, Saka, Nketiah, Aubameyang.,

SUBSTITUTES:

Macey, Sokratis, Ozil, Kolasinac, Maitland-Niles, Willock, Smith, Nelson

The gunners have lost in their last two Premier League matches and so Mikel Arteta will hope that these players are able to get a win over Southampton since he has started receiving a lot of criticism from the supporters with some claiming that he might not be good at in game management since he is a rookie manager.

Arsenal haven’t always been convincing in the matches away to Southampton but this will be a good opportunity for them to get all the three points from the Saints since they will not have their home support with them. Mesut Ozil continues to be benched by Mikel Arteta and the Arsenal head coach has already claimed that he will only play the German World Cup winning midfielder when he has shown that he is ready in training.
