The Premier League has been suspended for two months now but it looks like we are getting closer to its return and Arsenal will also be happy with this decision.

The Premier League has been suspended since the 12th of March due to the spread of the coronavirus but the league has however begun preparations for how they will reopen it without putting the health of everyone involved at risk. Arsenal is one of the few clubs that publicly said that they hope that the Premier League 2019/20 season be finished.
The Premier League has in the last few weeks been having discussions as to how they will be restarting it and it’s been confirmed today as per Sky Sports that all the PL clubs have shown commitment to the completion of the 2019/20 season and so this will be a huge blow to those that were hoping that it gets declared null and void. The Premier League has apparently decided that the league will restart on the 12th, of June and that it will be played at 8-10 neutral stadiums so that they can be able to consistently make sure that none of the players and the coaching staff get COVID-19 due to traveling to different places around the country to play matches.
WHY ARSENAL NEED THE SEASON FINISHED

All Premier League clubs including Arsenal will lose a lot of TV money if the league does not get finished and so most clubs will be hoping that the season does get completed. The Premier League got cancelled when Arsenal were starting to go on form and they had set their sights at the opportunity of getting into the UEFA Champions League spots as they were only a few points away from fourth placed Chelsea with a game in hand.
It is been reported that the European spots will be chosen according to the current league standings or points per game if the league gets cancelled and this would mean that Arsenal would not be in Europe next year which means a lot of revenue would be lost, so the North Londoners will be hoping that the league restarts so that they can get into either the UEFA Europa League or UEFA Champions League spot.
