Arsenal will head into the summer transfer window with the hope of backing Mikel Arteta as this will be the transfer window that he uses to build his squad as the January transfer window only saw him get two defenders on loan. Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta has for the first time opened up on the summer transfer plans of the gunners.
It is well-known how everything in football will be different in the coming months since the spread of the COVID-19 has disrupted the football schedule and there has already been reports of clubs losing a lot of money and suggestions that the Premier League might be cancelled. However, Arsenal fans are still looking forward to the next transfer window since it could be important and are curios to see what Mikel Arteta will be planning.
Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta has opened up on his plans for the summer transfer window and was very clear in saying that they are three scenarios that have been tabled and that they will be the determing factors in what they do. The 38-year-old boss also admitted that there are however still in limbo with how the system will work since the spread of the Corona Virus has seen almost everything get closed.
“I’m planning two or three different scenarios that we can face. Depending on one of those three, we will be able to do more, less or nothing.” Mikel Arteta told Sky Sports in an exclusive interview.
“We have to react daily. We don’t know what the financial situation is going to be, we don’t know the rules, the timing, the window. There are so many things we cannot control at the moment.”
The Arsenal fans will be happy to hear that Mikel Arteta spoke out on their transfer plans but they will however be worried that he said that there’s a scenario that might see them do nothing in the upcoming summer transfer window.
