Arsenal has today been welcomed at Turf Moor by Burnley and the lineups have already been announced, and gunners boss Mikel Arteta has come in with a surprising starting eleven as Lucas Torreira and Nicolas Pepe have started on bench.
ARSENAL STARTING ELEVEN TO FACE BURNLEY
Leno, Bellerin, Mustafi, Luiz, Saka, Xhaka, Guendouzi, Ozil, Martinelli, Lacazette, Aubameyang
SUBSTITUTES:
Martinez, Sokratis, Torreira, Willock, Ceballos, Pepe, Nketiah
The Arsenal fans will definitely be surprised that Mikel Arteta has decided to bench Lucas Torreira for today’s match even though the Uruguayan international has been fantastic in the last few weeks. Matteo Guendouzi will on the other hand be hoping to take this opportunity to cement his place in the starting eleven.
Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta had a huge decision to make this afternoon since Aubameyang was returning to the squad after serving his suspension and it looks like he has decided that it was Nicolas Pepe who had to make way for the Gabon international.
