Emery speaks out on playing Aubameyang, Lacazette & Pepe ahead of Spurs game

Aubameyang, Lacazette and Pepe haven't started together this season but Unai Emery has said that they can play in a three ahead of their Spurs game.

Arsenal signed Nicolas Pepe in this year’s summer transfer window and the gooners are excited to see how he performs this season alongside Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The Arsenal fans want Unai Emery to make it an attacking trio but he is yet to start them together this season.

Nicolas Pepe made two substitute appearances and started against Liverpool and he put on an incredible performance but he however missed some chances that would have won Arsenal the match but the gooners are looking forward to seeing him start at the Emirates Stadium today against Tottenham Hotspur. Lacazette is now believed to be fit so the gooners want Unai Emery start the Frenchman with Pepe and Aubameyang so that they can see if these three players can work together.

Arsenal head coach Unai Emery has also confirmed that he believes that these three players can play in a three but he however says that them playing together will always depend on their game plan.

“I think they can start together and they can play also during the match as all three, it depends how we decide our game-plan.” Emery told Sky Sports.

“But I am very optimistic for that situation, but [just] those three players, also Nelson, Mkhitaryan, Willock and Ozil.”

“We need to be able to make the best decisions, but above all, to have different possibilities with the players.”

Arsenal welcomes Tottenham Hotspur today at the Emirates Stadium and most gooners are hoping that Aubameyang, Lacazette and Pepe all start as everyone is curious to see if this trio could play well together. It will be interesting to see how Unai Emery sets up his team as he really surprised everyone when he put up a diamond formation against Liverpool.
