Arsenal starting eleven to face Aston Villa gets released

Arsenal has today welcomed Aston Villa at the Emirates Stadium and the lineups are out, and Unai Emery has surprisingly started Saka.

The gunners are today facing Aston Villa and they know well enough how their fans are waiting for another Premier League win since their last one came against Burnley a few weeks ago. Arsenal head coach Unai Emery has selected a different starting eleven to the one that made a 2-2 draw with Watford last weekend and he will be hoping that he has got it right this time as he has been heavily criticized in the last few weeks.

ARSENAL STARTING ELEVEN THAT WILL FACE ASTON VILLA

Leno, Maitland-Niles, Luiz, Sokratis, Kolasinac, Xhaka, Guendouzi, Ceballos, Pepe, Aubameyang, Saka

SUBSTITUTES:

Martinez, Chambers, Torreira, Willock, Nelson, Ozil, Martinelli

It is surprising that Unai Emery has decided to start Bukayo Saka in today’s match but the truth is that the young winger does deserve this opportunity after his incredible performance against Eintracht Frankfurt on Thursday. The Arsenal fans will be hoping that he puts on an incredible performance in this game.

The gooners will definitely be unhappy that Sokratis and Luiz have once again started today’s game after the mistakes that they did a week ago but it looks like the boss doesn’t trust Chambers and Holding is yet again not on the bench. It looks like Emery could introduce Holding in the League Cup game against Nottingham Forest on Tuesday.
