Barcelona Vs Arsenal Match Preview & all you need to know

Arsenal will today head out to Barcelona for the Joan Gamper Trophy and Unai Emery will be hoping to use this game to test his players ahead of the Newcastle game.

The gunners will today be hosted at the Camp Nou by Barcelona to battle for the Joan Gamper Trophy and this game will be Arsenal’s last pre-season game of the summer as they will next week face Newcastle United in the season opening game.

Arsenal head coach Unai Emery has already made four signings and he will certainly come into this match with mind towards the Newcastle United game at the weekend as this is their last pre-season game and thankfully enough, the club managed to get a friendly set up against a big club like Barcelona so it will definitely be an interesting game and it could be Nicolas Pepe’s debut for the North Londoners.

Arsenal has only lost once in the pre-season matches that they have so far played and Unai Emery is expected to give chances to his new signings like Nicolas Pepe and Dani Ceballos since it would be helpful to him to test them together, a week before a competitive game. The Arsenal fans will also be looking forward to seeing the formation that the coach uses since it could hint at the one that he will use in this upcoming season.

Barcelona will also come into this match hoping to win as their pre-season matches haven’t been interesting enough for their supporters as they lost to Chelsea and then later won the next one.
