Arsenal has been on the pursuit of Kieran Tierney for many weeks now but Celtic boss Neil Lennon has made another statement about the situation.

Kieran Tierney has been linked to Arsenal for over a month now and the only real report that we received about this deal is that Celtic rejected a £15million bid from the gunners. Ever since that report came out, we’ve received a lot of contradicting reports which claim that Arsenal’s second and third bid have also been rejected while some say that the gunners are yet to send a second bid.
Kieran Tierney was with the Celtic squad on their pre-season tour in Austria but he was however sent home to continue his rehabilitation since he is still recovering from a hernia problem. The North Londoners are reportedly still in the pursuit of Kieran Tierney but there hasn’t been any new report which claims that the gunners have made a new bid.
Celtic have begun their UEFA Champions League qualifiers and even Kieran Tierney was named in the squad that was submitted to UEFA even though he is injured. Celtic boss Neil Lennon recently spoke about the future of the Scottish left back and he made a hint that shows that the gunners are yet to make an offer that satisfies their valuation of the full back.
“I spoke to Kieran in Austria and to be honest I haven’t really seen much of him because he came back early for rehab, so has not been on the training ground as yet.” Celtic boss Neil Lennon is quoted by the Mirror.
“It can be an unsettling period for any player and that is understandable but until a club comes up with any sort of realistic valuation of the player we don’t have to do anything and we won’t.”
The Celtic boss continued and said that Kieran Tierney is in the mean time continuing his rehabilitation while they continue with their qualifiers but he however didn’t confirm whether the left back will leave their club this summer.
