Will Sokratis and Granit Xhaka play in Arsenal’s game vs Wolves?

Arsenal fans are curious to know if Sokratis and Granit Xhaka will be available for their game against Wolves. So here is a report about their availability.

Arsenal will on Wednesday face Wolverhampton away from home and it will be a must win game for the North Londoners since they wasted the chance to go into the third position by dropping points against Crystal Palace. Sokratis Papastathopoulos and Granit Xhaka did not play in their loss against The Eagles and the fans went to know if these two players will be available for the Wolves game?

Granit Xhaka

Unai Emery said in his post-match press conference on Sunday that the Swiss midfielder asked to be subbed off in their game against Napoli and Unai Emery then decided not include him in the match day squad that faced Crystal Palace as a precaution.

Xhaka will probably be in the Arsenal squad that faces Wolves on Wednesday because resting him in the game against Crystal Palace will make him more fresh for this must win game against Wolves. Some pundits have said that Xhaka was missed in the game against Crystal Palace so having him in the squad against Wolves will be great for the gunners.

Sokratis Papastathopoulos

Sokratis did not participate in the match against Crystal Palace because he was serving a two game ban since he got his 10th yellow card of the season in the Everton match hence getting banned for two Premier League matches. Sokratis will be available for the Wolves match because his ban has ended since he has missed the match against Watford and Crystal Palace.

Arsenal fans will be excited to have him back in the squad because Shkodran Mustafi was yet again shocking in their match against Crystal Palace. The Arsenal fans don’t want to see Mustafi in the Arsenal starting eleven again.
