Impressive: Unai Emery leads Arsenal to an incredible record

Unai Emery was appointed as the new boss of Arsenal in May last year but the performances of the gunners have shown how he has improved the squad.

Arsenal has been an interesting side this season because they have sometimes showed that they are still the old laughable team that usually slips in important matches and has other times showcased that it has drastically improved under Unai Emery who has so far spent one year in English football.

Arsenal welcomed Newcastle United at the Emirates Stadium and were able to beat them 2-0 thanks to goals from Aaron Ramsey and Alexandre Lacazette but getting all the three points isn’t the only thing that they achieved that evening. Unai Emery has led Arsenal to an incredible record that has not been done in two decades.

“Arsenal have won 10 consecutive Premier League home games within the same season for the first time in over 20 years”

The Arsenal fans will feel that stats like this coming up is a great sign that Unai Emery might be the right man to take them ahead after Arsene Wenger’s legacy started fading in the last two years. It’s incredible how the Arsenal squad has been impressive at home this season and Unai Emery will probably be urging his squad to try to do this away from home so that they can at least secure the third position on the Premier League table.

The only club to defeat Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League is Manchester City and they will be hoping to win their next two home PL matches to maintain this record.
