Arsenal star gets injured while on international duty

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey will not take part in Wales' UEFA EURO qualifier matches because he has got a thigh injury.

Arsenal has a number of players that received call ups from their respective countries. The rest of the Arsenal squad that will not represent their countries in these two weeks of the international break have gone to Dubai for warm weather training to prepare for their upcoming matches.

Aaron Ramsey also received a call up from Wales and was expected to take part in the two matches that it will play in this international break but he has however got injured before playing any international match. Wales coach Ryan Giggs has said that Aaron Ramsey has been sent back to Arsenal for treatment after he picked up a thigh injury.

This will be a huge injury blow for Unai Emery because Aaron Ramsey will be needed in their upcoming matches in April because he is currently on form after impressive performances against Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United and Rennes at home. Ramsey was going to take part in UEFA EURO qualifier matches against Slovakia and Croatia.

Arsenal boss Unai Emery will be hoping that it is not a big injury but we will have to wait for his pre-match press conference ahead of the match against Newcastle United on 1st April. Ramsey getting sidelined for a long time would disappoint the Arsenal fans because they will want to give him a good send off in his last matches at the Emirates Stadium.
